Comprehensive assessments & consultations
All Foundations clients start with comprehensive assessments to uncover their current health status and personal lifestyle behaviors. This is a critical step that leads to the first consult sessions. Understanding the starting point and where a client wants to go will begin their journey and assist in the customization of their program.
In addition to the paper trail, we do onsite evaluations that address functional movement, strength and flexibility plus a basic breath analysis, energy and obvious thought patterns.
Wellness advising & behavior modification exercises
Structured, weekly onsite and phone coaching sessions based on a proven life coaching system to assist you in breaking current habits, creating new ones and achieving your goals. Goals are set, strategies are developed and weekly action plans move you through the program and address negative thought patterns which may sabotage your success.
Personal fitness training
All clients who choose a program that includes personal fitness training will receive a thorough functional movement screening and postural analysis. Your customized training program will have an emphasis on functional movement, strength, flexibility and interval training. All personal fitness training sessions are held at Axis Performance Training Center or Nealon Park in Menlo Park, CA.
Whole food purification, education & supplementation
Start with a 3-week whole-foods detoxification to purify the body and create a foundation to work from.
Learn about the power of whole food and develop eating strategies based on your food preferences, sensitivities, personal lifestyle and emotional triggers. Whole food purification supplements are included in some Foundations programs.
Massage
Massage sessions are fully customized using one or a mixture of the following modalities: swedish, deep tissue, thai, hot stone, prenatal, shiatsu and myofascial release. Address stress, lymph drainage, injuries and blocked energy that can deplete your immune system triggering a host of symptoms including fatigue, weight gain and illness.
Basic breathing & Stress relieving techniques
Becoming aware of your breath is essential to optimum health. Learn fundamental breathing techniques that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine and use during extremely stressful moments. A basic yoga and/or meditation DVD may be included in your program in short segments of 20 minutes to accommodate your busy schedule. Basic postures are reviewed for proper alignment and your safety.
Sleep Management
Sleep patterns are assessed and exercises will assist you in finding more time to rest and restore which is vital to your health. If necessary, a CD that encourages deep, REM sleep may be recommended. Whole food supplementation may also help to address adrenal fatigue and other stress/sleep related issues. Massage services plus improvement of physical activity and nutrition will all play a natural part of improving sleep imbalances.
Life Coaching
Focus on goals, strategies and very specific actions plans to move forward in one or several areas of your life. Address areas that are stagnant or leave you feeling confused or "cluttered." Celebrate going from point A to point B with a structured, non-judgemental approach.
Foundations Journal
The Foundations Journal keeps track of your Foundations program. You can track your coaching exercises, fitness program, supplements, eating strategies, thoughts, feelings, challenges and success stories. Use the journal as little or as much as you choose. It is a personal guide to finding your personal foundation of health.
Partners & Groups
Many Foundations services and packages are offered as partner programs. If you are interested in additional motivation and a reduction in price per package share your experience with a friend or family member. Our group fitness and nutrition classes will also motivate you to maintain your program with other like-minded clients!
